PERFORMANCES & COLLABORATIONS
As a soloist, Massimo has appeared in numerous concerts across Italy and internationally, performing in Switzerland, Egypt, France, Spain, and Australia. These engagements have enabled him to connect with diverse audiences and cultural contexts, broadening his artistic vision and deepening his interpretative sensitivity. Alongside his live concert activity, he has also contributed to recording projects for RAI, the Italian national broadcaster.
Among his artistic engagements, Massimo has appeared as a soloist with the Solisti del Teatro San Carlo of Naples, performing in concerts presented in prestigious venues. He has served as principal and section cellist under the baton of internationally renowned conductors including Riccardo Muti, Enrico Dindo, and Sir Antonio Pappano, experiences that have played a key role in shaping his orchestral sensitivity and artistic maturity.
Since relocating to Australia, Massimo has continued to establish himself as a versatile performer through collaborations with leading cultural institutions and organisations. He has appeared as a soloist in concerts presented in collaboration with the Consulate-General of Italy in Sydney and has performed at distinguished institutional events attended by Her Excellency the Honourable Margaret Beazley AC KC, 39th Governor of New South Wales, and Nicola Lener, Ambassador of Italy to Australia.
Among his recent engagements, Massimo was featured as the solo cellist for the Italian Ball 2026, one of Australia’s premier celebrations of Italian culture and heritage. He has also collaborated with Co.As.It. Sydney on artistic initiatives, further strengthening his contribution to the promotion of Italian culture within the Australian community.
Numerous collaborations have included performances with leading cultural, academic, and musical institutions in Italy and Australia, such as the Italian Cultural Institute in Sydney, the Consulate-General of Italy in Sydney, Co.As.It. Sydney, Manly Art Gallery & Museum, and the Conservatorium of Music “Domenico Cimarosa” of Avellino, as well as appearances at festivals and concert series including the Mimas Music Festival (Procida) and engagements with orchestral ensembles such as the Orchestra Filarmonica di Benevento and the Collegium Philharmonicum Orchestra (Naples).
